Overall, it was a decent experience. When I first walked in I wasn't sure where to go to order food..I sat at a table and watched people do karaoke.. Finally a young gentleman told me to go to the bar and order. The lady was very sweet and the food was at a good price. Give it a try. I would have never stopped cause it looks uninviting but it's really not. I'm glad I saw the reviews
Great food, fun atmosphere, and the owners are just wonderful human beings. If you're driving by, definitely take the time to stop in for a bite to eat and check it out!
Recently heard about this place and it's great food so decided to try it out. Heard they were down for their pork tenderloin and boy, was it amazing! I'm not usually a big fan but that's because I don't care for breading. They offered a grilled version that was seasoned nicely, and very tender. We got the breaded version to go for our son and he loved it. I had Jake's Pork Sandi-- which had brown sugar/apple slaw, goat cheese and balsamic ... OMG, I love this combination of sweet and tangy. Sandwiches are served with chips and pickle, or you can upgrade to crispy crinkle fries or tater tots. I tried a couple of my hubby's fries and they were good. We will be back soon to try out the breakfast. I see that they serve that all day.
I stopped by for the $6 burger and fries. I was very impressed with how quick the food came out, and how amazing everything tasted. The staff was very friendly as well
Jake hits it out of the park again! Great biscuits & gravy, hubby had cheeseburger--enormous portion, hothothot crinkle fries & I couldn't resist ordering my fav--Jake's Pork Sandi--juicy grilled pork, brown sugar/apple slaw, goat cheese & balsamic reduction on Challah roll.... #heaven #mmmmmm
Great little dive bar, homey atmosphere with a warm crowd, gotta try the burger special Jake fries em up right, and they got fresh house made veggie burgers too for my freinds on the rabbit diet. tuesdays are Open Mic Night with the Man David! Cheap beer, good music, good food and great people you gotta stop in!
Jake is a genius on the flat top! The regular menu is spectacular but the specials are delicious. The Cuban sandwich is worth the drive and then some.
